Couples Psychotherapy

We all exist in relationship with others. We are shaped and formed within the earliest relationships we have with our care-givers. Relationships can be places we experience relational wounding but they can also be places where we can heal and grow; they give us opportunities to learn more about ourselves.

We all want our relationships to be full of love, connection and emotional safety and yet relationships today can be under a lot of pressure; they can often be places of intense emotion and disconnection.

I can support you in gaining new insights into your relationship and ways to deepen connections, which can help you to re-establish intimacy and trust, offering you hope and the real possibility of change. Through a collaborative process I can help you to understand your own internal processes, acknowledge your needs and skilfully communicate them in a way that supports continued connection with both yourself and your partner. I can support you in understanding how to participate in difficult conversations in courageous and skilful ways, helping you to repair ruptures and miscommunications. Change takes time and with patience, respect and practise I can support you to do this.
