My Approach
I am a relational, open hearted and sensitive therapist who offers a confidential, non-judgemental, inclusive space to a wide range of clients. My practice is integrative, person-centred & psychodynamic*.
I work creatively and flexibly in an embodied, trauma informed and collaborative way to suit the needs of each individual client. Everyone has a different story and I know with care and attention I can give you the opportunity to begin to understand your own unique life journey. I am committed to building a trusting relationship with my clients, providing a safe space in which they can express, explore and process complex emotions, enabling them to connect more fully with themselves. These understandings can lead to the building of inner resources enabling attuned, healthy, authentic relationships to flourish, both with yourself and others.
I am dedicated to best practice engaging in regular supervision, an ongoing program of high quality continued professional development and my own in depth personal psychotherapy.
I understand that considering therapy can be daunting and it often takes courage to take the first step. I will support you through your experience with warmth, empathy and respect in a nurturing space. Please do get in touch if you feel I could support you.
IFS Psychotherapy
We are all multiple and consist of many different parts, do you ever hear yourself saying part of me would like to do this and another part of me would like to do that? This is your own unique internal family system.
Internal Family Systems is a wonderful non-pathologising therapeutic modality that encourages both self acceptance and self awareness. This way of deepening connection to yourself can facilitate personal insights and growth, allowing you to begin to understand the core beliefs that are constantly influencing your daily life.
I use IFS in a creative, trauma informed, body centric way, helping you to access and explore the language of the body. I will support you in getting to know all the different parts of yourself with an open hearted curiosity, celebrating your own uniqueness. All parts are welcome!

Art Psychotherapy
The use of creativity can be powerfully transformative enhancing insight, deepening awareness and empowering expression. Creative embodied approaches can support you to come to new personal understandings which can lead to increased hope, an enriched life and lasting change. Working creatively can promote holistic healing and growth; connecting you to yourself in a deeper more meaningful and embodied way. Putting your experiences into words, through talk therapy alone, may feel difficult and be potentially overwhelming and this is where working creatively and playfully in different ways can support you. You do not need any special artistic skills, anyone can take part in, and benefit from, Art Therapy.

*Psychodynamic therapy considers the impact of all your previous life experiences and how they affect your current feelings, emotions and behaviours often in an unconscious way.
Having an awareness and understanding of how our unconscious affects the way we live deepens our understanding of ourselves and our world.
